Hello Everyone,
Welcome to a brand-new bouncing baby blogsite that talks about all things Arsenal.
Here we go again! I can almost hear the groan, but hang on a bit...this is a new blogsite with a difference. A difference in that it will discuss the exploits, or flops(!), of all Arsenal players with African links.
Im talking here about not just Arsenal players with African roots but all person, things, happenings that have to do with the African continent.
At the just-ended 2010 FIFA World Cup, we all know that our two African brothers, Messrs Alexander Song and Comrade Emmanule Eboue both flew the African-Arsenal flag before being sadly bundled out in the very first round.
Well, that was that as far as African-Arsenal was conecerned at the World Cup. Not quite.
Monsieur Wenger was also in Souht Africa doing commentary work for some obscure French radio station who calculated very wrongly that the Les Blues would go all the way to the final match at Soccer City.
Also, our very own Nemanja Vidic-clone, TV (Thomas Vermaelen )was also in Africa to do some charity work somewhere around the Victoria Lake countries.
All these were very much highlights of African-Arsenal happenings during the end-of-season break and it surely kickstarts this blog.
Im not promising to fill-in stuff daily cos its very, very hectic but ala Myles Palmer, we'll be meeting up as and at when soemthing breaks.
Hope I made sense.
Hope we'll all have a fun ride.
Welcome indeed ahead the new season!
